Cross Court Summer Mixers off to Great Start!

Cross Court's summer mixers started last week.  Free to members, the mixers are a great way to meet other members, work on your game and have some fun!  Monday 6/2 saw 20 players for the morning mixer and 30 for the evening mixer!  Sign-ups for each mixer start one week in advance by either calling the club or stopping by the front desk.  There is a one-time $30 ball fee which covers the cost of balls for all the mixers.  If there are open spots, non-members may play in a mixer for $25.  Check out our mixer page for days and times.

 

Cardio Tennis now at Cross Court

Cardio Tennis made its debut last week at Cross Court!  Led by tennis pro John Haslam, Cardio Tennis is a fun way to get a great workout while honing your tennis skills. Thursday's class had 11 players, (both men and women) and this week is filling up quickly as well (maximum of 12 players per session).  Cardio Tennis is currently being offered through June on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-11AM.  We'll pump up the volume and get your blood pumping as well!  Sign up now!

 

 

Hudson Valley Junior Summer Circuit

The 1st Annual Hudson Valley Junior Summer Circuit kicks off this Weekend (June 14-15) with matches at Cross Court.  Junior players from Cross Court, Sportsplex and Matchpoint Tennis Club will compete against each other, with matches being held at each club.  Points will be awarded, and a Circuit-ending Awards Tennis Party will be held in September.  Players compete with same age players and play a best of three-set match.  Click here for additional information and the sign-up form. 

 

 

2014 New Haven Open Family Classic Tournament

The New Haven Open Family Classic Tournament brings together the best family tennis teams in New England and the Tri-state area.  Cross Court is proud to host one of the Local Qualifier Tournaments.   Local winners of each division go on to compete at the Regional Tournament July 19th and July 20th at the Yale University tennis courts in New Haven, CT.  All finalists at the Regional Tournament will be eligible to advance to the New Haven Open Family Classic Finals, scheduled for Thursday, August 21st during the New Haven Open at Yale Tournament.

Local Qualifier at Cross Court is Saturday, June 21st

Summer Memberships

Not a member but looking to play some tennis this summer?  Cross Court offers an individual Summer Membership for $199 or family memberships for $299.  Membership entitles you to free use of the courts indoors and outdoors all summer long.  You are also able to join in our weekly mixers (offered Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) for free.  Members also have free access to our outdoor inground pool.  Meet new friends, get some exercise and have fun playing tennis!
